For recorded words we can get everything transcribed into an editable word document.
If you've written your story long hand in a book, then all we need is a copy of those words and we will get them transcribed as an editable word document.
If you have typed your story in a digital format then that's all we need.
In our experience it is not always a good idea to proof read your own story. We can offer professional proof reading so that your words can be examined and checked by a professional for spelling and grammar.We can let you have an estimate for this service based on the length of your book.
We have a links with professional writers.It's a fact that everyone does have a story but it's also a fact that sometimes it needs a professional writer to give the work some polish.Some of the best and biggest names in publishing rely on the professionals to give their books the edge.
We have ties with writers who can take your manuscript and turn it into an even better story than you thought.
We have the words and you may have some images, photgraphs, illustrations, drawings, everything that can add big interest to your book.We will need to see what you have and we can fix almost any image that is probelmatic.Supply them in any way to suit you, prints or even better scans in digital format.
Design is key to the success of your publishing venture.Full colour or black and white.You can have almost any book format you like, almost any size and on almost any paper.We discuss design with you when we have all the material.Design visuals can be prepared for you and we proof everything for you to sign off before we print.....and now we print.
Publishing is generally done by publishers! Obvious really, but true.We are not publishers, we are printers.So, essentially if we print your book you are the publisher.We have links with publishers who may be interested in adding to their list of published books.We make no promises, they decide.
What's the advantage in that? Well, it's a fact that published books sell more than self published books.You have the advangtage of the publishers good name and good will plus some marketing expertise.Come in and talk about it with us.
You don’t have to print thousands, you can print as few as ten copies and have them made into almost any format. We now have on-demand books so you can order as few as 50 books at a time rather than have thousands.
We have the very latest digital presses and an in-house binding facility, so that we can print and bind your books right here!
We can also print in volume! For more than 1,000 books we may well advise you to print them litho on one of our high speed litho presses.State of the art machines that are capable of printing thousands of books.The unit price will be significantly impacted by printing in volume, but of course your risk is significantly higher. You'll have to believe you can sell them, it's the publishers risk.

Here are some we have already printed.The book on May Hill was a limited edition print run and sold out in December 2008, a unique personal history of May Hill, an area just on the edge of the Forest of Dean and on the way to Ross on Wye
The Lampost Book is by journalist and PR writer Nigel Heath, again a limited edition of paperback books.We printed just 50 copies for him, and put together the artwork and design.Nigel has a website for telling family history on-line: www.lifestoriesandmemories.co.uk
The other book feautured is bound using wiro binding.Suitable for cookbooks where you want the book to lie flat when preparing a meal. Very durable and you can print a small number very cheaply, great for schools and charities as fundraisers, or even fun raisers!
